M.K. Singal Memorial Award
With a donation from Mahendra Kumar Singal Mathematics Trust, the Association had instituted this award in 2009 in memory of Prof. M.K.Singal, Past General Secretary (Outstation ) of ISCA to be given annually to a distinguished scientist for his/her outstanding contribution for development of Science and Technology..
The award carries a Gold Medal. The awardee is entitled to TA (Air Fare-economy class - within the country) and D.A. as per ISCA rules for attending the annual session of the Science Congress in which he/she will receive the award.
The award is presented to the recipient during the inaugural function of the Annual Session of The Indian Science Congress Association.
Nominations for the Memorial Award are invited from Members of ISCA Council.
The awardee may be requested to deliver a lecture at ISCA Headquarters/ Chapters.
The Expert for the Award is nominated by the General President.
The final selection is made by a Selection Committee comprising the General President, General Secretary (Scientific Activities), Treasurer, and General Secretary (Membership Affairs).
The last date for receiving nominations is July 31 each year.
